The divine frenzy – AtmAsfera in Kraków – IntegroTour Poland 2011

Going to the Thursday AtmAsfera gig at the Kraków’s Rotunda club I was sure that I would hear a lot of good music and see a great performance. What I heard totally exceeded all of my expectations. 1.5 hrs of great feast for the fans of this Ukrainian group, world music and folk. AtmAsfera performed in the following line-up: Anastasiya and Yuliya Yaremchuk, Andriy Shadiy, Andriy Cherkasov, Mihail Puzyurin and Timur Gogitidze. The band is currently touring Poland promoting their new album “Integro”. Power and energy flew from the Rotunda’s stage, emanating from the musicians to the audience, everybody was having fun, dancing and singing along with the band. The girls were doing their magic singing and playing the instruments, while the male part of the group was maintaining the energetic dimension of music, especially Timur who played the goblet drum as if he was receiving the power from space.

The band presented mainly tracks from their new album and as an encore the audience heard two songs from the “Forgotten Love” album, namely “Nama Om” and “Brahma-Samhita”. AtmAsfera played encore three times but it still wasn’t enough to satisfy the audience’s needs. The lack of air-conditioning also added to the heat. Entering the stage once again Yuliya stated with a smile that “Kraków's gig was like having a sauna”. She added however that Kraków's audience was the best. Of course it was!
